We’re so excited to announce a NEW interactive program for children and their parents to learn about vegetables that we can grow in the garden. A hands-on approach incorporating songs, crafts, stories, recipes, taste testing and of course, planting in the garden. Children will have their own garden space where they can watch their plants transform from seed to vegetables! This 6-week program for children (ages 2-4) and their parent will run every Thursday (10am-11:30am) from May 25th-June 29th. $60 per child for the 6 week session. Register here or contact Cara at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Day 5: Beans
Today we learn that seeds can grow in a lot of places, not just the soil! Our friends will practice sorting by arranging shapes, sizes and colors. Your child will also be sent home with a mission to track root and shoot growth of their very own bean plant.
