Plein Air painting is the act of painting outdoors and became popular with the French Impressionists. Canadian Artists, the Group of Seven painted outside to capture nature in it’s true form. Join local artist Harvey Walker to learn the history of en plein air and get a chance to experience it first-hand. Explore painterly brushstrokes and atmospheric colour as you create a landscape painting of the bee hives in our apiary. Monday August 26th from 1pm-3pm. $20 per person, includes 8 X 10 canvas and paints.
