CSA - What is a CSA? CSA is a program of mutual commitment between a grower and a community of supporters. It links people directly with their source of food, providing them with the freshest, sustainably produced food. It gives growers a source of income at their time of highest expense (early spring). Participants purchase a share in the season's harvest and receive a weekly package of food.
What's included!
- 16 weeks of farm produce
- An open invitation to visit the farm and share in the gardening
- An opportunity to pick your food up at the farm or at central locations
- A direct connection to the farm and farmers
- A fair price based on a well thought-out budget
- Workshops for adults and children
- Knowledge that your food is grown without harm to the water and soil
- Opportunities to pick your own flowers and vegetables
