Come and take in the forest with a relaxing easy paced walk at Abbey Gardens.  Experience nature with your senses and feel better!  Join Fran Mills as she guides this meditative forest walk, concluding with a tea ceremony and refreshments among the trees.  Walk is approximately 2 – 2 ½ hours depending on weather.

A bit about Fran …

Fran Mills is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and a member of the Global Institute of Forest Therapy.  Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku which literally translates as “taking in the forest atmosphere”.  It is a research based framework for supporting wellness and healing through nature immersion.  Fran lives on the edge of the Canadian Shield, tending her 50 acre property, running an Airbnb and inviting willing participants to wander the forest with her.
