Wine Survivor Contest

All proceeds from this draw go to support the good work of Abbey Gardens, a not-for-profit charity in Haliburton.

How the Wine Survivor Contest Works:

All Entries are due by November 15th.

The 12 Days of Christmas Wine Survivor Contest begins with the FIRST DRAW on Nov. 18th & the FINAL DRAW on Dec. 13th (12 Days before Christmas).

All participants contribute $25 + a bottle of wine (valued at approximately $20), or send an additional $20 and we will purchase your wine for you. Every day, at approximately 8pm numbers will be drawn and potentially eliminated. But there’s good news – just because your number is drawn doesn’t mean it’s over for you! You can re-enter the draw by paying another $25 by 3pm the following day. If your number is drawn again, unfortunately you are eliminated from the 2020 Christmas Wine Survivor Draw.

When we are down to the final 12 numbers, these are the price winners:

1ST place will win – 30% of the wine
2ND place will win – 15% of the wine
3RD place will win – 10% of the wine
4TH – 12TH place will each win – 5% of the wine

+MORE PRIZE WINNERS! 12 lucky participants will also win a FREE Abbey Gardens Membership for 2021!

Leaders in Training (LIT) Program

Experience the fun of camp while learning leadership skills through our Leaders in Training (LIT) program! Work alongside an experienced educator to deliver camp programs this season. LIT's practice their skills by leading games, crafts and activities and shadowing education staff during camp programs.  A hands-on opportunity to cultivate self-awareness, communication and cooperation skills all while getting community service hours.
What makes our Leaders in Training program so unique? A one-of-a-kind opportunity to participate in a 3 hour professional development session during an orientation day prior to your camp experience....with our horses! Working with our ponies and experienced trainers, LIT's complete activities with our ponies designed to help identify leadership styles, gain confidence and learn appropriate assertiveness. The orientation day is held on Friday June 27th from 10am-3pm. Cost is $75 per person (includes lunch).
Our Leaders in Training program is perfect for youth ages 15-17.
