Description
Through information sharing and hands-on planting, participants will learn:
- How to prepare your soil for planting
- When to plant, ideal spacing and over-wintering tips
- Things to watch out for and when to harvest
Participants should come dressed for the weather and ready to garden with rubber boots, gloves and a spade or trenching tool.
Presented by Deb Barnhart on Saturday October 27th from 1-4pm at the Stanhope Heritage Garden (behind the museum) 1123 North Shore Road, 1 km East of Highway 35. Cost is $15 per person, which is due at time of registration.
