Description
This summer camp is all about getting comfortable with our “wild” backyard! Children have a natural sense of wonder and during this program they will safely explore and discover nature through stories and their senses. Days will be filled with fun games, crafts, sensory activities, stories, and exploration! There will be two snack breaks and a lunch break supervised by Abbey Gardens Staff. Food is to be provided by parents/grandparents/guardians.
If your child is turning 5 in 2025, you are welcome to contact us to discuss their suitability for this camp. Please consider their ability to carry out day to day tasks independently. Camp is $295 per child for the 5 day camp week and $236 per child for the 4 day camp.
There are four weeks to choose from: June 30-July 3 (4 day camp), July 14-18, July 28-Aug 1, and August 11-15. Please indicate your preference from the drop-down menu. If the date isn’t in the drop-down menu, it means it’s sold out. Please email Irene Heaven irene@abbeygardens.ca to be added to the waitlist.

Payment Information & Cancellation Policy
We will be requesting that all participants commit to the full 5-day or 4-day program. Full payment is due at the time of registration.
Since all programming will be outside, staff will be checking weather daily for risks of extreme weather conditions; extreme heat/humidity, thunderstorms, excessive rain, etc. Any risk of extreme weather will be communicated to parents/grandparents/guardians within 1-1 ½ hours prior to drop off time if the day’s program is cancelled. Cancellation of a program will be emailed to the primary contact person of the participant ONLY if the program will not be running that day. It is the responsibility of the primary contact to check their email prior to transporting their child/grandchild to the program.
If you choose to cancel your child’s camp registration prior to the start of camp: Cancellations made up to three (3) weeks prior to the program’s start date will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations with less than three (3) weeks notice will only receive a 90% refund IF we successfully fill the camp spot. If we’re unable to fill it, a 50% refund will be returned.
Please note: Refunds are not granted if a parent/grandparent/guardian withdraws their child(ren) from the program early, or if a participant is dismissed or disinvited from the program due to misconduct and inappropriate behaviour, deemed as such at the discretion of the Abbey Gardens’ staff.
