Description
Shoreline plants protect against erosion, wave action and ice damage, moderate water temperature, flooding, and absorb nutrients from human activity. They help keep our lakes swimmable, drinkable, and fishable!
We’ve created an open shoreline kit with plants that are appropriate for low lying areas with moist soils and at least 6 hours of sunlight per day (needs afternoon sun). They can be planted right at the water’s edge to create a beautiful display of flowers that bloom throughout the season in striking shades of blue, red, purple and white! Many of these species attract pollinators too! This kit includes 45 plants that cover a 10′ X 10′ space.
