Our ponies are the celebrities of Abbey Gardens…everyone wants to meet them! Get your chance to go beyond the paddock gate with one of our unique Pony Times! Meet our rare, Ojibwe Horses, take selfies and give a horse a hug during your time with us. Each session is tailored to meet the needs and abilities of the group. It can include a combination of grooming, feeding, walking, and working on basic commands (all activities are on-ground, there is no riding).
Get your chance to get up close! Pony Time experiences are 45 minutes for $25 per person. Minimum group size of 2. Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults must register for a spot. Please note that all participants must wear sturdy closed toed shoes…no sandals!
Pony Times are offered regularly on Fridays at 11 am. Other days and times are available by appointment. Select your preferred date and time from the drop-down menu for the Friday sessions or email us at paddockpals@abbeygardens.ca to book an appointment for a time that better suits you. No same day bookings please as our volunteer team requires time to prepare.
Please add all children’s names and ages to the required checkout fields. Don’t worry grownups…you don’t have to share your age! Just write “Adult” in the age field if there are no children in your group.
